"Suzy is a superb host who ensured everything was ready. The unit is perfect for a couple with dogs as there is enough room for a couple of crates. It was well kept and had a great location for sight seeing, trout fishing, bird hunting, hiking, and wine tasting which I did when there. Not hard to find at all, but is quiet and off the beaten path enough to enjoy the country. I will be returning. "

We hiked crabtree falls, and from there the only entertainment we needed was listening to the sounds of the river behind us as we enjoyed our stay. "This is a beautifully renovated, tastefully decorated, cozy home in a somewhat remote area of Virginia but within range of Monticello, many wineries and several other attractions. It had all the amenities needed to enjoy our stay. The beds are super comfortable, all the appliances are new and in excellent condition. The hot tub is a nice addition as well as the fire pit. All in all, an excellent property which I would not hesitate to recommend to others or return to in the future."
