"3rd or 4th stay for aging group of fly fishermen during winter catch and release. Plenty of room, porch is great place for equipment, rods waders,etc. Fun around the firepit. Plenty of kitchen dining lounge space."

"The hotel is older but is kept clean and inviting, staff was nice but no breakfast not even continental. Fresh coffee and home made cookies are great."

"As the title reads, we are old fly fishermen who have been taking trips twice a year for many decades. We bring everything we need. This cabin (house) was one of the cleanest and best stocked places we’ve stayed in. We still used our own stuff, just didn’t need to, lol. Very nice place, great location. Will rent again in the future."

"This was an amazing vacation retreat. The cabin was incredible with its warm woodwork throughout and was beautifully decorated with antiques, lending to the ambiance of a true cabin in the woods. It only gets better when you step outside and take in the stunning view of the lake and secluded landscape from the big wrap-around covered porch. Although the inside is warm and inviting, most of our time was spent outside enjoying the quiet tranquility of the nature that surrounds it. The cabin is well stocked with all the modern day amenities we needed. It was EXTREMELY clean and well cared for. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom and the living room had a TV with cable access. The only thing missing was an indoor shower, however there is an awesome outdoor shower by the hot-tub, so just be sure to bring a robe! The grounds of the retreat offer hiking, fishing, boating and kayaking. The fishing was incredible. If you have little ones you want to teach to fish, this would be an awesome place to do it. Wildlife was abundant, there was even a pair of bald eagles who regularly flew over the lake looking for fish. The property managers (Cindy and Johnny) were incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you both for an amazing stay!"
