"We loved loved the continental breakfast. Whether it was the handmade omelets or the scrambled egg - so good. The batter for the waffles was really top shelf. The little swimming pool was a hit! The hot tub was super hot! However the showers only had cold water down at the swimming pool room. The building could use a little updating but the price value was SUPER good. My only recommendation if using Travelocity is NOT to use DOLLAR rent a car. Dollar doesn't allow you to take your car back to other cities or make any modifications. Also, there were several WARNING lights on in our Dollar rental car , ha ha. So we had to go back and trade it, but they could not even let us change it to their partner Herts to get out of the bad Dollar deal. I guess ww would use travelocity again but would just make sure we didn't have dollar rent a car in on the deal. Best Western was good!"

"We arrived at the hotel and I realized I forget my silverware. The manager at the hall was so gracious he gave me a tupperware container full of everything I was going to need knives spoons forks butter knives can opener, you name it he gave it to us so very generous. The cabin was absolutely breathtaking it was beautiful comfortable cozy."

"Quirky? Yes. Lacking features you’d find in a more modern hotel? Yes. The room was small, the bathroom was small and the door seems a little sketchy but everything was fine. 70’s colors, a working Atari, pictures that looked like I should be in them (yeah, I looked like that), disco ball - all had us laughing at the way we were. Rick is hyper enthusiastic about his hotel and the work that’s been put into it and should be! He called as soon as we booked to check on arrival time and check on restaurants, this was a Monday in winter so places might be closed. A thoughtful move. Yes you owe it to yourself to step away from the corporate culture and visit the unique places that are around you. Well done Rick!"
