"This was our 4th time staying at this house on the dunes and we had a wonderful time as always! The house had been updated with new carpet and deep-cleaned since the last time we were there so it was all nice and fresh. It is so nice to be able to just hop on our toys and head out to the sand without the hassle of trailering. Plus, we were able to bring our dogs down with us which is a big deal. We always hate to leave them at home with a sitter! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for...

"Great little three bedroom for the price! It could have been a little cleaner upon arrival, you could tell somebody hadn't been there in a while. Spiders and spider webs inside the dwelling and out. All the issues were relatively minor. The can opener is broken, the hall bath doesn't hold water, and the carpet is frayed in some areas, leaving sharp trip hazards. Overall we had a great day, the place was relatively quiet and close to amenities."

"This was such a relaxing 2 days! The home is fully stocked with blankets, towels, cleaning, kitchen has NICE cookware, real plates utensils, silverware etc. Most common condiments are in frig and sugar flower etc under cupboard. Nice to light a fire, it was my first and great instructions with supplies all that is needed is there but paper products packaging plates and bags are great to help start the fire. There was no cell service, no internet but that is temporary. I liked that technology was...

"So much thought and effort has gone into making this a comfortable stay for 3 generations and pet. Old game stations and hand shuffle board had kids and oldsters playing together. Blankets made TV watching comfortable. Fenced yard was good for pet. Kitchen was well appointed and beds were comfortable. Big Foot design is fun too. We drove to Bastendorf Beach, North Bend, for dog run."

The furnishings are very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. It is on the small side with spiral staircases going up to the loft and down to the den(?). The stairs are quite narrow which can make it difficult for some. The path to the lake/dock is a little steep in places and needs just a little trimming and a few...

"Overall, the stay was awesome and we loved the house! We were here for a crabbing trip and it was a convenient distance to the boat launch. The house was clean and we LOVED the kitchen. It was well stocked with spices and cookware. The island also made for a nice social setting and the table was big enough to for us all to eat together. The only down side was they forgot to leave us dishwasher soap and we had to handwash dishes throughout our vacation. They did allow us to leave dirty dishes...

"We planned a fishing / crabbing trip out of Winchester Bay. This property was perfect for me and my four friends. The master bedroom is on the main floor with three other bedrooms on the top floor. The bedrooms on the top floor have limited headroom due to the roof line. If you are not extra tall you will be fine. The kitchen was the most well equipped vacation rental home that I have found. This property worked great for our fishing trip!"

"Four couples stayed. Lovely home. Decent location. Driveway is treacherous. Master bed was good. All others were hard or caved in center. Ran out of toilet paper. Stairs to basement rooms is very steep. No closets or even an armoire in downstairs bedrooms. View from back deck is lovely. Stairs to dock are also treacherous. Nicely stocked kitchen. Labels everywhere are helpful. "
