"Nice cottage on Golden Lake, huge property with enough space to play all the games and sports you want. Beachfront is just the right size with the firepit in prime location for clear views of the lake and star gazing. Tons of water sports equipment like canoe, floaties, paddleboat, and paddle boards. Friendly neighbors who wave and say hello at every opportunity. The cottage is nice and cozy, has everything you need for a comfortable and care free stay. Our son loved the upper loft. Hot water on demand (no cold showers). Nice little dock, clear water, tons of trees if you require some shade. Killaloe is a nice little town, beavertails and an LCBO within 10 min drive. Overall a great little get away and highly recommend anyone to visit and just kick back and enjoy. "

"We stayed as a family of four with two young children at the end of summer. The property is beautiful and the water very shallow quite a ways out so it was perfect for our 1.5 and 2.5 year olds. They had a blast playing in the water, riding around in the kayak and playing with some beach toys provided. The cottage got both very hot and cold while we were there with the fluctuating temps that week. The fans in every room work wonders and there is heating if needed. Adequate and comfortable linens provided. Some toiletries if needed. Really nice to have a washer and dryer on site if you need to wash and dry towels or clothing you brought up. All the comforts of home including a dishwasher, coffee machine etc. TVs also in every room which was convenient. As others have mentioned, it seemed as though there were not a lot of mosquitoes but the ones that got us were the itchiest we have ever experienced. Property was secluded / private enough though you could see some neighbouring cottages/guests a ways away. Hosts were prompt with responses to any correspondence. I think the biggest take away was that we had a very comfortable stay as a family of four with small children."

"Couldn’t ask for a better place for a family getaway that is pet friendly. Modern amenities throughout made for a stress free experience. Plenty of activities to keep everyone happy and space so everyone could spread out. Close to a variety of shops makes it easy to pick up food and anything we needed."

"Fabulous. We attended a wedding in rockingham, and this was the perfect location. Everything in this cottage deserves an A+. The only surprise was we had to bring our own bed sheets. Did not see it in the description. Thanks for sharing your place. "

"The trailer was older but fully functional. Heat and fans for temperature control. There was lots of space to park and set up tents, the kitchen sink and stove worked well and the bbq was very helpful. The space was very nice with trails, canoeing, and the full camping experience.
