"We rent a cottage every Thanksgiving weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to enjoy the fall colours. This cottage is located in a beautiful, hilly area with beautiful vistas and the changing leaves were fabulous! We chose this cottage because of its cosy, rustic appeal, but it also had all the amenities we needed. There's a great view of the lake. Sitting by the woodstove on the cool evenings was so comfy. It's becoming hard to find 'real' cottages like this nowadays as so many of them have been modernized to look like city apartments. This one was absolutely charming!"

"We stayed as a family of four with two young children at the end of summer. The property is beautiful and the water very shallow quite a ways out so it was perfect for our 1.5 and 2.5 year olds. They had a blast playing in the water, riding around in the kayak and playing with some beach toys provided. The cottage got both very hot and cold while we were there with the fluctuating temps that week. The fans in every room work wonders and there is heating if needed. Adequate and comfortable linens provided. Some toiletries if needed. Really nice to have a washer and dryer on site if you need to wash and dry towels or clothing you brought up. All the comforts of home including a dishwasher, coffee machine etc. TVs also in every room which was convenient. As others have mentioned, it seemed as though there were not a lot of mosquitoes but the ones that got us were the itchiest we have ever experienced. Property was secluded / private enough though you could see some neighbouring cottages/guests a ways away. Hosts were prompt with responses to any correspondence. I think the biggest take away was that we had a very comfortable stay as a family of four with small children."
