BeeBops Grill was an unexpected find after spending the day hiking in the outskirts of Ohio's Amish country.

I was in the mood for a burger and would have settled on anything that wasn't a chain. I was lucky enough to stumble upon BeeBops.

I got a 1/2lb bacon cheeseburger. The burger came topped with provolone AND there was even more provolone stuffed inside the burger! The accompanying onion rings were huge, crispy and crunchy. I only got a half order, but the fat kid inside me was pining for more! As a guy who normally skips condiments, I was won over by the horseradish heavy dipping sauce.

As a side note, I saw numerous patrons ordering the daily special. It was a mountainous twin peaked plate of the aforementioned onion rings and lightly fried fish fillets.

If you find yourself hungry and in Wilmot, skip past the numerous Amish buffets and give BeeBop's a shot.

"Older building in the heart of Wooster, but very well kept and maintained. Staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and fairly spacious! Would definitely stay again when in the area. "

"I referred to the options above when reflecting on how I felt about Fairfield Inn. What I think I liked most of all was the friendly atmosphere and kindness of the staff. Their willingness to make exceptions about checkout after explaining the time of my workshop. The entire week I stayed their was pleasant. Thank you"

"One of the nicest places we've stayed at while in Amish Country. My daughter loved playing the piano in the lobby. Staff was super nice. With places closing so early in Amish towns, having an indoor pool and hot tub was a huge bonus and gave a genuine place to relax of the evenings. That area could use a bit of an upgrade. Pool needed painting, etc. but still super nice."
