"My 80 yr old mom had not been back to Vermont since 1996, and she loved every minute of our stay here.The farmhouse is quaint and charming and only 20 mins from town. The furniture and accommodations were terrific - my mom could not make it up the stairs, but she was delighted with how comfortable the couch was!This place is a fabulous getaway, and we could not have been happier."

"The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! The natural beauty of the area is stunning, and nature lovers will appreciate the bird chatter, occasional monarch butterfly, starry skies, complete with fireflies in the yard! "Our group met at this charming, comfortable home for a family reunion. Charlemont is a quintessential New England town that offers gorgeous views and plenty of outdoor activities. We grew up close by, and skied Berkshire East, so it was fun to revisit the area. The host was happy to share her local knowledge and more than accommodating. We'd highly recommend staying at The Parsonage."
