"The place was perfect! We did not even scratch the surface of what is available there. 11 adults fit wit room to spare. Thank you host for providing us lasting memories!"

"Great location, near Manchester and Dorset, just off Rt 7A. Instructions for check in were spot on, but we didn't receive the initial email, it had to be resent. Probably the coldest weekend of the winter, with temps close to 0F. Oil heat/forced air, but it wasn't able to do a good job on the primary bedroom (downstairs). Other than that, unit was well furnished, with a Keurig coffee maker, full complement of cooking gear.Would definitely return in the future."

"My 80 yr old mom had not been back to Vermont since 1996, and she loved every minute of our stay here.The farmhouse is quaint and charming and only 20 mins from town. The furniture and accommodations were terrific - my mom could not make it up the stairs, but she was delighted with how comfortable the couch was!This place is a fabulous getaway, and we could not have been happier."

"OMG - this place is fantastic. An oasis of peace and quiet yet close to so many things - Albany Rep for theatre, 38 mins away, Saratoga - 38 min away, Bennington museums - 38 min away. Manchester VT - 38 min away. This house is so impeccably appointed and comfortable, you want for nothing. Add in the "see to the horizon" sight lines out your bedroom window and you know you are in heaven. You know the host cares for your comfort - she has even added a bit of magic to your stay"

"Such a beautiful historic home tucked away in the country. Even though it was an old home, it was very clean and tastefully updated. It was minimally decorated so you could really take in the character of the house and it was even more spacious than pictured. We had all the appliances that we needed and more. The only downside was that some of the suggested activities in the area were closed down and could use updating. "

"The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! The natural beauty of the area is stunning, and nature lovers will appreciate the bird chatter, occasional monarch butterfly, starry skies, complete with fireflies in the yard! Gather chairs around the firepit in the yard at night and enjoy it all. "The stay at the barn was fantastic. Very warm and cozy . For those who think staying in a restored barn was drafty , not at all , it's very well insulated and it was 31 degrees outside. The fire place was awesome with plenty of wood. Dave and Loretta were very accommodating and easily assessable . It's beautifully decorated with some antiques which we enjoyed . Highly recommend . John , Debar, Rob and Sharon."

"Very pretty area of Hoosick Falls, views were great. The cabin was very cute and spacious with many activities for people of all ages. Our group loved the scavenger hunt!!"

"Peaceful, easy walks, beautiful surroundings with beautiful flowers. The house had everything we needed and was centrally located to villages, towns, and markets. Plenty of nearby restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. A perfect place from which to set out on day trips . House sunny with views from all rooms. Also, turkeys, deer, apples, and other things of interest."
