"My husband & I stayed 3 nights on a little getaway. The property was very nice. I enjoyed the lap pool & paths. The gym has good variety of machines. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not to our liking. The bathroom vanities were nice, but the shower could use an update. We can't comment on the on-site restaurants as we didn't visit them. "

"This hotel is a very well maintained "retro" property. Although it was next to the Interstate 10 freeway, the sound of the freeway was not evident. The staff was very helpful. The location was perfect for visiting downtown Tucson and for touring Sonora Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park West."

"This was a little gem. For the money I would highly recommend a night or two. Check in was great. Lovely staff and you get free breakfast, free evening drink and bottled water. Coffee available all day. Where it lacks in moderation it is making up with the people. Found the housekeeping top notice too. Towel around the pool etc. it is an old building in fact almost retro. "

"I would definitely stay at this particular La Quinta again in the future when in Tucson. The bed was super comfortable and the location was great. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had was that the smell of oil/ machinery in the elevator was a little overwhelming."
