"This "cabin" had a lovely view of the lake!. We used the fireplace every night (would be nice to have some kindling or a small axe) the firewood was plentiful. We love to cook-the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything needed, plus service for 15. Bring your own spices/condiments-there was salt/pepper. "We had a girls weekend and it went great. The water was perfect, nice sandy bottom to the lake, hot tub was great, house had relatively comfortable beds. Neighbors apparently take pictures of the number of cars in the driveway, which I thought was quite odd seeing as the property is advertised to sleep 16 people. Other than that, the stay was great. Property is definitely not walking distance to any local restaurants or taverns, so plan on having a car to get anywhere. "

"We had a wonderful visit as a family. We had the best of both worlds, being secluded in a private wooded area but conveniently close to tourist attractions and restaurants. Our host was phenomenal and unexpected upgraded us to a newer property due to miscommunication on his end with cleaning the cabin we were originally supposed to stay in. Would absolutely stay in this area again! "

"Corie and Ryan’s cabin is exactly as advertised. Nicely done, cute and comfortable. She was very accommodating when we asked to extend our stay. Pleasant Lake is beautiful and quaint. The cabin is a short walk from the boat launch or beach. We look forward to going back!"

" We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. "We had a blast!"

"Rhonda greeted us at the property and she was very kind and friendly. The place is rustic and beautiful! I loved the modern kitchen with all the dishes you need to cook or grill. They even had shampoo/body soap for showering and I love the touch of having makeup wash clothes. We enjoyed camp fires, the lake and the quaint town of Fremont. The place was SO peaceful ! "

"House was lovey and lots of nice amenities . Kids loved trampoline, play area and air hockey table. River tubing about 20 minutes away, great time for all ages. Close to walking/biking trails. UTVs not allowed on trails but can use local roads."
