"heb afgesproken met vrienden voor eten en drinken in Alkmaar en woon zelf ver weg. Dus 1 nacht verbleven. Dat is prima gegaan. Leuk is dat je nog duidelijk sporen ziet van de vorige bestemming van het gebouw. (Gevangenis) Alkmaar is trouwens ook wel een mooie stad om te bezoeken met traditionele panden en grachtjes."

"Loved Bob W. Stunning apartment complex, really good location - only a few stops on the bus to Amsterdam Centraal. The bus stop is right around the corner not even 2 minutes walk. I loved the little touches in the room like the stickers, the tote bag and the lil Polaroid camera that you can use and keep the pics (not the camera ofc so don’t pinch it 😉). "Really enjoyed our stay. Room had all we needed and local area had good spots (cafe de cuevel & klaproos for pizza!). Great location for easy travel into central and for the straat museum too. Staff at Poppies were super friendly and helped us out, as our first room was a bit noisy and we got upgraded no issues. Thanks for having us - we will definitely recommend this place"
