"We chose a bad day to go, there was a Christmas fare on in a marquee in the grounds and the place was packed out with every available member of staff busy in the restaurant, so there was no one mannig the reception, so, we did as the notice on the door said and asked a member of staff to check us in, and although she was rushed of her feet she got us checked in along with another couple who had also arrived. Although property is old fashioned, my single room, with en suite was very clean and bed was comfortable The breakfast cerea,l yogurt etc was an unexpected bonus. Kettle, microwave and fridge in room. Member of staff on arrival friendly and helpful. I couldn’t get the tv to find any chanels, but not there long enough to enquire about it. Could do with a chair, but overall exactly what i wanted Thank you"

"Great apartment in great house. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had a little kitchenette which we didn't use but it would have been useful for a longer stay. I have marked you down 1 star on Communications as I could find the information regarding check out time on the last day and it was hard to find it online, it said 11am in one place and 12 noon another. I had to go to the Holiday Inn checkout next door and ask them in person. "
