"Everything was perfect. We worked with the owner of the property through VRBO and it was very easy to communicate, ask questions and get answers. We visited twice prior to our reservation date to get a feel for who would sleep where of the 40 folks on our list of invitees. The owner was always very accommodating. The entire experience was so relaxed and stress-free. The pool, the hot tub, the lake. So amazing. Thank you so much Tony and VRBO!"

"This is our second stay here. The staff are fantastic and our only issue is out of the control of the staff. We were reminded of the no smoking policy only to enter a hallway that smelled like cigarettes and an elevator that reeked of marijuana. Upon our return from dinner, air fresher had been sprayed which made it slightly better."

"We had a fantastic stay at Better Lake Than Never! The home was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. Marc the host was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. We especially appreciated home away from home comforts such as a surplus of fresh towels and a well-stocked kitchen with high quality cookware and utensils. The large jetted tub was clean and so very relaxing, not to mention the provided kayaks, life vests, fishing rods, tons of games - even a full badminton set and a foosball table - made our stay that much more pleasant and memorable. Since Better Lake Than Never is pet friendly, we were able to bring our shih-poo along with us, giving us peace of mind while we were away, as well as giving her the opportunity to enjoy her very first vacation! Being right on the water was absolutely beautiful! The retractable awning was a huge plus, as it allowed us to eat lunches outside in comfort. Fishing off the boat dock was so much better than expected. We caught several large catfish, largemouth bass, bluegill, perch, crappie, and a pike! "We loved this house and location! We had plenty of space for our family -13 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We fished, kayaked, swam... the kids (and adults!) had fun jumping from the two story dock. The location provided tons of places to sit and relax. The ice cream store was less than 10 minutes away in case you wanted to venture out. The hosts we helpful and thoughtful! "

"We really liked the convenience of being on the first floor especially since the curtains could be closed completely. (We’ve stayed in other places where that was not the case). We enjoyed having coffee in the room but would have liked a little more cream and sugars. Breakfast was nice and appreciated as we wanted to get on our way without additional stops. And the bed was very comfortable!"
