"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...

"A very enjoyable stay in the pretty and quiet village of Badby. The house was just as described and perfect for our needs. Good little playground and cafe and pub a short walk away. In a perfect world the curtains in the bedrooms would have blackout lining (for the summer sunrises) and the dishwasher would be replaced as the racks are shedding rust, but otherwise a fantastic stay."

"Stayed here for Christmas at this beautiful cottage. From the time of booking, Merrick was a pleasure to deal with. He even arranged for the fire to be lit for when we got there! Upon arrival the cottage was so appealing and absolutely immaculate. It was everything that we had hoped for. It had everything that you could need and all of it was of the highest quality. Thank you so much and we would love to return as we all had a really special time"

"Lovely little cottage very clean, warm, quiet, nicely renovated, friendly animals and farmer next door. My daughter was a little spooked by spiders,and clusters of hibernating ladybirds in corners. Could do with a working outside light as very dark at night. Lady from office was lovely and helpful although no logs for fire as promised. Didn't know about road closure in evening/overnight at end of drive, but a kind workman let us through and back in so we could visit family nearby in evenings."

"Quite the best property we have ever rented. Comfortable beds and everything in the kitchen one could possibly want for self-catering - and all looking wonderfully hygienic and spotless. Three good bathrooms, including one with shower for the disabled. We were blessed with good weather for sitting in the wonderful garden."

"The host was very helpful before we arrived sending through directions and everything we needed to check into the property. Lovely place, great views and the hot tub was very welcome after the Blenheim Triathalon. Would highly recommend everything about this property."

"We arrived and immediately felt relaxed. We wandered to the local shop for supplies. Then we had a few lovely days exploring Woodstock and Roucham gardens. "

"We had a very nice 3 night stay at the cottage. Perfect spot to get away and relax. Grocery store a few minutes away for cooking at home or walking distance to the pub. Surrounded by the beautiful countryside, we'd come again."

"The cottage was very quirky and filled with nick nacks and excess furniture. It looked like the owners still lived there. The spare bedroom ceiling had just been replastered and was still drying !! We had trouble with one of the toilets but this was dealt with very quickly and I have no complaints about the property manager. None of the electrical equipment was PAT tested."
