"The room i was given looked like it had been smashed up with the bed on its side and slugs climbing up the door . Was promised a refund by both the owner and hotels.com and still waiting after nearly a month"

"After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? "Despite my late check-in, the folks at Middle Flass Lodge were ready to go. Very friendly and I was made to feel immediately welcome into their place. Classic and quaint."

"Extremely difficult and confusing to check in and out. Lots of different codes for doors, and very confusing regarding key safe. Little to no mention about the actual details regarding sharing a flat, other guests were extremely noisy, particularly very early in the morning Property, not in the best of conditions, with bathroom doors, not locking, which is extremely disconcerting for a shared flat. The facilities were not good, poor lighting, the whole place needed a lot of renovation...

"I couldn’t stay in the accommodation. The accommodation appeared reptile infested. It is not suitable for any human being to stay in. Only fit to habit rats and other animals. The surrounding was just too bad. I am sure nobody has ever moved in there in 2 years. It looked like a death trap. This particular place should be taken off any hotel listing. "
