"Beautiful rooms, very comfortable and nicely maintained. Interesting, historic building in great location - easy walking distance to many sights in White Town. Nice restaurant food and great cocktails, but a la carte breakfast was not available - only buffet, which was simple but good. Management very friendly and helpful however, restaurant staff not particularly attentive so service could be slow at times. But all in all a very nice place to stay in the centre of Pondy."

"We had the most perfect stay at “Le petit palais”. Great boutique hotel located in the beautiful “rue Suffren” in the French quarter. The staff was amazing and friendly, especially with our 2 young children. We will come back for sure!"

"This hotel was great for a short stay. The hotel itself lacks a 4star luxury feeling, but it has more of a small boutique hotel feel. It's also a great location. It's a walkable distance to the boardwalk/ocean front, which was nice. At night, the area was lively and safe. We walked around and even went to a few shops then came back and had a specialty coffee beverage at the hotel restaurant. If you choose to sit outside when you dine, the view is beautiful. "This little hotel is right on the sea front - ensure you book a sea facing room and enjoy wonderful views and waking up to the sunrise. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful in providing guidance for getting around and onward travel. There’s no restaurant as part of the hotel but one on the ground floor called Sicilys, where we got excellent value breakfast and dinner. The room does get some noise from outside, so if this bothers, bring earplugs. "

"The location on the promenade was great. No proper lobby or reception. A cafe at the entrance which serves as lobby. Not all rooms have view and most have partial sea view. Lovely room, very comfortable beds, very clean and fantastic staff. Breakfast was very basic and not great. Better to eat elsewhere. "

"So nice to walk out the door and turn onto the Bay of Bengal with a very long and Promenade where no cars are allowed. Busy early morning as the 'walkers' are out. You might hear a flute talking to another flute somewhere else and the sound of the sea always."

"Rooms on the front of the building get nice light and fresh air and we really enjoyed that. The breakfast was really nice - portions served to you but quite filling if you take in all the options.
