"’m almost hesitant to write this review because this place is just that good. My wife and I spent a perfect weekend here and couldn’t have asked for more. The house is beautifully appointed and thoughtfully decorated, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you walk in.The entire upper floor is dedicated to the master suite, offering a third-story view that feels like a private retreat. The bed is one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in—like sinking into a cloud. And then there’s the shower… spacious, with multiple shower heads, and big enough for two. Pure luxury.It’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave, and if I had my way, I wouldn’t tell anyone else just to keep it all to ourselves. But it’s too amazing not to share. If you’re considering it, book it—you won’t regret it.Let me know if you’d like to make it even more playful, romantic, or add any details about the kitchen or outdoor spaces!"

"My husband and I stayed at the cottage over a long weekend for our anniversary. We brought our dog and enjoyed a wonderful weekend. It was quiet and cozy! We also enjoyed talking with the neighbor about the history of the property. We definitely recommend!"

"My husband and I booked this property for a cozy winter weekend away. This is one of those properties that ends up being BETTER in person than the listing indicated. We didn't even leave the house the entire weekend. The kitchen was so well stocked that we just cooked our meals. The hot tub was so clean, relaxing and had he BEST view of the river. We were lucky enough for it to snow while were were there. It was a gorgeous scene! I really can't say enough good things about this property - they really thought of everything to make our stay incredible! "

"Lovely stop over on our way to family. Beautiful home decorated for the holidays and had all the amenities we needed plus little snacks! We got to the a beautiful sunset off the dock and our twins got their own rooms and bathroom. It would’ve cost more to get two rooms at Williamsburg hotel. So happy we got to stay here! Would love to stay the week during summertime! Beautiful home and location! "

"Elevator scary but otherwise great everything else"

"The house is lovely and the view of the river is gorgeous - especially the sunsets. There are huge windows looking out into the the trees and the river. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us. The kitchen has everything you would need - even popover pans! The owners were wonderful: when the kitchen faucet broke, they fixed it immediately.The private beach is lovely too - although we couldn't really use it that much given it was December. It would be great to come back in the summer."
