The Space:
Perfect for a Vermont getaway, this picturesque retreat offers breathtaking views and a plethora of outdoor activities for you, your family, and friends to revel in. Situated adjacent to an operational Vermont farm, views of the animals in all seasons.
The main floor of this beautiful cabin features an open concept floor plan, seamlessly integrating the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The kitchen is a culinary haven, equipped with modern appliances to help you create delightful meals for your group. Adjacent to the kitchen is a spacious dining room with seating for eight, providing the ideal setting for shared meals and memorable conversations.
After a satisfying dinner, unwind in the living room, surrounded by large plush furniture centered around a sizable mounted TV. Transform your evenings into movie nights, creating lasting memories with your loved ones. As you stroll down the hall, you'll discover the main floor bedrooms. The primary suite, located on the right, boasts a king bed, a large flat-screen TV, and an ensuite with his and her sinks, a shower, and a tub. Across the hall is another king bedroom with its own flat-screen TV, accompanied by a full bathroom featuring a tub-shower combo.
Step outside from the living room onto the expansive deck, offering panoramic views of the Vermont countryside and a spacious yard to host lively gatherings under the green mountain skies.
Venture downstairs to find a second gathering space, two additional bedrooms, and a game room. The base of the stairs welcomes you to a cozy sitting room adorned with plush furniture. To the right, a generous game room awaits, providing entertainment with ping pong, foosball, and an array of board games. The lower level also includes two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The left bedroom features a twin over full bunk bed, while the opposite room boasts two twin beds and direct access to the expansive back of the property through a sliding glass door, treating guests to stunning views.
Completing the amenities, this home offers a large two-car garage and a spacious foyer, perfect for storing ski equipment and outdoor gear. Your Vermont escape awaits in this charming log cabin, where comfort, entertainment, and natural beauty converge to create an unforgettable retreat.

Guest Access:
We offer convenient door codes for self-check-in. Quechee Lakes Rentals by Portoro uses convenient keyless entry for self check-in, details provided 2 weeks (or less) prior to arrival by email and text message.
• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 3 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.
Please note: This home does not have access to the Quechee Club.

Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Quechee and Woodstock courses (15 minutes), as well as the challenge of the Killington Mountain course (45 minutes). Skiing is a breeze with Quechee Ski Hill and Saskadena Six within 15 minutes, or venture a bit farther to the thrill of Killington and Pico (45 minutes).
Immerse yourself in the local culture with farmers' markets, events, and antiquing. Additionally, the area offers miles and miles of hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing trails for outdoor enthusiasts. This centrally located home is your gateway to a delightful Vermont vacation, offering convenience, comfort, and endless opportunities for adventure in every direction.

Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines.
- All guests staying at an Quechee Lakes Rentals by Portoro (Portoro Homes) are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age.
- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Quechee Lakes Rentals by Portoro directly.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.
- In the State of Vermont and in Windsor County, all hotel and vacation rental hosts are required to collect hotel tax. We collect these taxes within the booking transaction.
- There is no guard around the pools. - Use at your own risk.
- This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.
- Animals/Pets -- Dogs Only, Guidelines and Fee*
Animals/pets must be disclosed prior to reservation arrival date. Only dogs are permitted in “Pet-Friendly” Property listings. Allowed number of dogs will be expressly stated in the listing and a $150.00 fee per animal/pet is required. Animals/pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises unless prior approval is obtained. Any unauthorized animals/pets at the property will result in a $150.00 per day / per animal/pet fee, and may result in your reservation being canceled, and you may be required to vacate from the Property.

Interaction with Guests:
Our goal is that your vacation exceed your expectations. Quechee Lakes Rentals by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.
