"This was a great value at a super convenient location coming from the south, if you’re heading up to Woodstock or Killington. The restaurant/bar next door has big portions of comfort food and is a fun local spot. The room was larger and more updated than I expected. "

"Our favorite place in Killington! Not the fanciest but definitely the coziest and most accommodating place we have stayed. We needed an extra pot and pan and they delivered in 5 minutes. We love the cozy little seating areas near the fire for our family to hang out. The outdoor heated pool serves more like a giant hot tub where we meet the coolest people every year. The staff are so friendly and easy going. Easy parking..We will be back again next year!"

"Summit was a wonderful classic ski lodge style stay. Plenty of wonderful amenities for the family, quiet sleeping room, simply furnished, with great common areas. Breakfast was good, the activity rooms were great for the kids, and the pool and hot tub wonderful after a cold day on the slopes. The bedroom and bathroom small for 4, but it's for sleeping not spending long periods of time in (that's what the common areas are for!) The owner is super nice and all the staff helpful. Even the on-site restaurant was delicious! If you're looking for a ski-lodge style bed and breakfast that is family-friendly and very warm and accommodating, this is your place! "

"I thought The Shire was great!. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great coffee. Quiet. Walking distance to town. This is a motel like set up. No restaurant but plenty around and a grocery store across the street. Rugs in rooms. I don’t like that but they were very clean. Excellent shampoo, high quality body cream that smelled great! Nice touch! "

"This was definitely the most comfortable stay i've experienced from a hotel! This is due to the cleanliness, incredibly comfortable bed, which is very important to me as i have Fibro and Psoriatic Arthritis. Also, i definitely can't forget about the staff! They went above and beyond for me, just because they genuinely care! It was a very warm and welcoming experience over all! I would highly recommend this hotel!"
