"We really enjoyed our long weekend away! This cottage was really cute and in a great location. We rented a golf cart and were able to get downtown within minutes. I will say, I wish there was shampoo and conditioner there instead of a 3 in one, also wish there was seasoning for cooking but I ran to the grocery store that was 5 minutes away as well. Overall very cute, clean and perfect for what we were looking for! "

"We spent 4 nights at this property. It was beautiful!! The setting on the golf course cannot be beat...Great! The home was very clean and a bathroom for every bedroom is the best. The guys played three rounds of golf at three different Pinehurst courses and enjoyed them all. Mr Hanna was very helpful setting up all the tee times.All in all it is a great spot and looking forward to going back. Cathy, Steve and family"

"Nicely updated, perfect space for our group of 5 and easy walk to village and the Holly Inn. Only thing I'd note is that the upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door and has a skylight in the ceiling. And while there was shampoo/conditioner/body wash, didn't like the scents. We loved playing cards game at the dining table with all the windows!"

"Very comfortable and clean. Location was close and we took the Pinehurst shuttles from the Holly inn which was a 2 minute walk. Plenty of beds and rooms. Kitchen stocked with paper products/ trash bags/paper towels/spices and plenty of cooking and serving dishes. "We love Batten Cottage! Our 2nd stay…I would give it 5 stars again, but only some minor issues. The back sliding door can hardly open but the deck and view, seating is awesome. We love the location, quiet and clean. The bathrooms can use a little updating, our toilet didn’t flush well. Just little things, but overall a ton of space, we love the 2 beds in each bedroom. Hope to be back! "
