"The flat was in an ideal location for our specific needs, though a little away from Waihi Beach itself. It was spacious and roomy, immaculately presented with everything we needed, and we had a most comfortable stay. Only concern was the lack of a handbasin in the bathroom/toilet, which meant washing hands and cleaning teeth in a basin also used for dishwashing - future guests may find this more of a deal breaker than we did, and owners could usefully consider rectifying if possible.
