"Drove from San Luis valley to fly out early next morning. Check in quick and room was excellent for comfort. Was very satisfied with this Choice hotel as there are many options to choose by the airport. Extended parking also available if you're flying. Highly recommend."

"This was my first time visiting Black Hawk, and I planned the trip last minute to get away and recharge from the chaos of everyday life. My family and I run a dude ranch guest resort, so I naturally pay close attention to service and hospitality wherever I go. The staff at Ameristar were some of the most genuine, friendly, and professional people I’ve encountered. Every interaction felt real, welcoming, and delivered with pride — something that’s become rare these days. One morning, I accidentally overslept and didn’t realize it was already 4 PM, well past the 10 AM checkout. I expected the worst when the manager knocked on my door, but instead, he was simply checking to make sure I was okay. That level of concern and care meant a lot. We ended up having a great conversation, and I even decided to stay an extra night. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Ameristar exceeded all expectations — I’ll definitely be back"

"Check-in was very easy especially at 11:30PM. Parking wasn't really an issue but there is a parking garage next to it that will charge you about $30 DAILY. We decided to park on the side of the hotel which didn't have a restriction on parking. The shower is a little weird with the design because water will escape. I recommend twisting a towel to block the water from escaping. Overall the inside is beautiful and I would stay again."
