"Really enjoyed our stay while visiting Richmond, breakfast was great too! Only one small gripe that the shower was'nt good, the dials were back to front, to get it warm it had to be on cold and when it was warm it was a trickle."

"One of the worst places ive stayed, i waa looking for a base to work from when ive got jobs in the area. Checking in was easy and so was the parking. As soon as i went through the main door of the accommodation part i knew it was going to be bad. No working tv. Foisty smell. Lights not working properly. Very dated and dirty bed covers. I ended up sleeping with my clothes on on top of the quilt. There are much better places locally."

"Our room was beautiful. It had a king size bed and the en-suite bathroom was a good size. The only downside was that the toilet flush handle was broken but still worked. It could have done with better lighting in the bathroom as you couldn’t see in the mirror very well. The room was immaculately clean and had a sofa and tv with easy to connect to WiFi. Personally I struggled with comfort of the bed as I found it too soft but it was dressed with clean sheets and had extra pillows in the wardrobe....

"the room was not warm enough and although mentioned to the staff, it was some time before the heating was sufficient. The tea maker was in a cupboard on the floor. This is the first time I have encountered this in a hotel, This was not easy to make the first cup of tea in the morning. Having mentioned these two points, the staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. "Late arrival and early out but was still welcomed by Alice the owner. Breakfast was offered and even provided at an earlier time than normally given, for which I was very grateful. A great cooked breakfast kicked off my morning and soon I was on my way. This was a perfect location to break up a long North to South journey. Very pleasant indeed. Sad that I missed out on what looked like a super Chinese dining experience for an evening meal! And just a few mins of the A1M"
