"An ideal location for a quiet getaway. Perfectly clean and well looked after. Well equipped with beautiful views I cannot recommend this home and location enough. Just a simple 80 minute ride from Auckland; it's easy to get to and remote enough to feel like you are away from the rush of everyday life. Matakanna, the closest village is about a 10 minute drive with some good local amenities. The property owner was a delight to work with and were flexible when I wanted to check-in early. Overall very pleased. This was my first trip to both New Zealand and The Yellow Bach. And I will come back again, to both, but with my wife, the next time."

"Very clean and well managed. Not cheap. But a very high standard of cleanliness and maintenance is obvious. A much higher standard than that which I have experienced at other properties of the same type in NZ. Two ring stove top, microwave, fridge and toaster. All plates, glasses, mugs, cooking items provided. Pool and barbecues on site. Walking distance to a beautiful beach and a restaurant / pub. 15 to 20 mins drive to supermarket, cafes, etc. Recomended. Especially for couples, (young or old)."
