"The room/bathroom was very clean & comfortable as it looked newly refurbished. One small point, on our first morning maintenance men turned up at 8.30 am working on the flat roof outside our room. As breakfast was served from 9 am, I would have thought it would have been appropriate to arrange for this work to at least start from 9am when guests are more likely to be at breakfast. I would like to add that all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. "

"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "A nice welcome to the Hotel. The room was clean and attractive and I liked the shower. Breakfast was hot and well served. We opted for the evening meal for our short stay and was 'home cooking' style . There is a bar so we could order drinks with the meal. "

I really appreciated the cleanliness of the property and the style of the bathrooms. Only downsides are that the property isn’t near any local shops. The nearest shop is a petrol station. "

Spotlessly clean, and a lovely welcome from the owner which included a vase of flowers, some cookies, and a personal message in scrabble letters on the fridge! Everything you need is provided for. The views from the back of the cottage were superb. We were blessed with wonderful weather which made the whole week even more perfect.
