"We had a great weekend because of the company. The house itself is tired inside as well as all the appliances. We found everything was on its last legs. The pictures and amenities list needs updating as it’s not accurate. Showers leaked, washing machine and hoover is broken, fridge doors struggled to close, broken freezer draws. "Outstanding stay at butterfly barn, couldn’t fault anything. The place was very clean and tidy on arrival, the check in process was easy and Stephanie is a lovely host. Nothing was too much for Stephanie, she was able to accommodate all our needs flawlessly, which made the stay that much better. The barn and surrounding area is gorgeous and is perfect for social events especially the open plan living space and kitchen area. Thank you"

"Beautiful cosy cottage in a sweet little village. We had the most wonderful mid week family break. Very nicely decorated with everything you would need. Steep stairs and uneven floors but nothing we couldn't cope with-added to the fun! We took the new family puppy and it was in a perfect location for the county park and lovely walks. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back!!"

"When we arrived after the very cold weather here before Xmas, we literally had no heating in the cottage and the temperature didn’t move off 14 degrees for two days until I asked for someone to fix it. So, we then had about four of the ten heaters working for two weeks until everything failed again and we were left again with no heating. "This place is magical, if you love the old world, bygone times as I would put it. The cottage is amazing. You have a view from every room, kitchen, lounge, master bedroom, even the bathroom (if youre sitting on the loo) Its amazing.Whoever built this place years ago, they knew what they were doing. Im missing the view so much now Im home, its amazing. The hosts are great. They really do everything they can to make you welcome. This is a fabulous place. So glad I booked it."
