"Pub with rooms. Great atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful, bed was very soft and the room was quite warm but otherwise good. Bathroom was bigger than needed, especially given the shape of the bath and if having a bath the difficulty of lying in it (think shower tray with extension). Water pressure seemed good though. Food was ok, my husband had an issue with his meal but it was sorted without a fuss by the staff. Breakfast was great and swift. Great tap beers, plenty of options for other...

"It’s a good hotel location to get to Lake District, free large car park. Friendly greeting at reception on check-in. Should also mention handy EV charger (fast charger) for EV cars (which I used) just off main road. So not only can you recharge your battery but also the cars. "
