The provincial park close by was great for hiking and the wildlife in the area made for perfect dog TV out the windows.We picked the location due to its proximity to friends that we were visiting and attending the World Juniors in Ottawa with.The house was everything we needed and more. "We spent four very quiet and restful days at this location. Well appointed with a lovely sunroom, firepit, and walking access to a sandy swimming spot on beautiful Upper Beverley Lake. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had all the amenities. The bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning made the hot Summer day comfortable. Very quiet, peaceful area! Had a wonderful time."

"This was the perfect little getaway with my girlfriends, the place was so lovely, we all felt so comfortable, we had heat issues, and when we contacted the management, they came over within minutes to rectify our issue. Really sweet little town with lots of beautiful shops and places to eat."

"Judy has put together a very thoughtful bunkie that’s brimming with character. It's cozy and inviting, temporarily making the world a smaller place for you to relax and live worry-free. There were few mosquitos while I was there. I noticed instead more bees, butterflies, and dragonflies (which eat mosquitos to my knowledge). There were also plenty of frogs and a few hummingbirds that frequented the feed. To cook, there's a small gas stove and also a BBQ. The gas stove is in the kitchenette...

"We arrived to find that our “luxurious cottage” was a cabin in a trailer park, trail of dog poop brought us to the door. We don’t mind rustic but moldy coffee left in the maker and someone’s soap in the shower was just the start. I paid for it and slept on the couch cushions on the floor. We made the best of it for our friends birthday but no privacy, no wifi and didn’t even get the cottage in the picture was enough for me. View was nice tho. "

"Sprawling and fascinating house full of lovely furniture and objects, so well equipped for vacationers with many lovingly constructed inside and outside spaces. The kitchen was lovely and very well equipped, and the dishwasher worked well though it was very tiny so we had to run it after every meal. The owners live on site by the way, along with the three cottages that are for rent...one right beside you at the pool level and one behind you that walks by the pool area to access the lake. There is not really any outdoor privacy. The view from the pool area and deck is breathtaking. The steps down to the pool from the cottage are definitely not to code, but there is a railing to hang...
