"Really nice spot. Low key. Went end of January 2025. Weather was beautiful, steady 85 degrees. Staff very helpful with calling car service for anywhere you want to go. Exchange of currency at front desk. Natasha was AMAZING, we loved her. A bit laid back on the island, I’m from New York so I always rush rush rush. Drink the tap water, it’s better than the bottled water there! Super hot showers! The only downfall is the random people walking up to you at night if you’re hanging out on beach chairs. They do have security around the clock walking around. Will rate 5/5 even with this issue—you just can’t be stupid. Not far from the st Lawrence gap. About 40 minutes from Carlisle bay (must go here on your trip)"

"Really enjoyed our stay here, staff from the reception to the restaurant staff, bar staff could not do enough for you, food was plentiful and enjoyful. Yes the hotel is a little tired, but it’s very clean and on a beautiful part of the beach. "

"It was a relaxing place to stay. The people that were there in January are on relax mode, and don’t do much but eat and sun bathe. Otherwise it’s a good place to stay."

"It was not too big, food was good, staff was very nice and helpful in all areas. The room was clean and we did not spend much time there we spent the days on the beach which was what we liked, with the barriers of coral it allowed us to have a calm area to stay in the water. My husband was snorkeling out there daily. Shower could have some type of shelf, and doors of rooms slam loudly so if you’re not an early riser you do hear them. Sizzles and the Japanese restaurant were very good and the buffet was also good. Not much in town or we did not find the right area. We did a taxi tour with George and he was very knowledgeable and showed us all the island highlights . The Island buses are quite the ride if you are looking for and island experience. Special thanks to Emerald for keeping us supplied with water and towels! "

"The Soco is a great resort if you are looking for a quiet vacation and seeing the sights around barbados. The services are excellent, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Bus stop is right outside the front door and Bridgetown is a 10 minute bus ride."
