"I absolutely recommend Sugar Bay and I hope to return soon. The restaurant staff, the bar staff, the beach staff, the grounds staff, the cleaning staff, the maintenance staff, the staff that welcomes you the moment you arrive and check in are smiling and friendly. They are all helpful and recognize the "deer caught in headlights" look when you don't know what you are doing. All of the staff at this resort make you fall in love with Sugar Bay and more importantly, the people of Barbados. The food is delicious, the spa is worth it and don't forget to make reservations at the restaurants. Now, I agree that there are some small updates/upgrades that could be made around the resort but you don't notice things like that unless you are looking for them. My best friend and I had a maintenance issue with our room and that was handled. It wasn't due to an upgrade that we could see that was needed. :) My biggest tip is to remember that you are hopefully there to relax and have a wonderful time away from your daily grind. Please remember that your kindness matters. Sadly, we witnessed a couple of unkind patrons, only a couple, who forgot this but I will say that the Sugar Bay staff handled these patrons' unkindness with grace and an over abundance of kindness in return. As a whole you will find yourself surrounded by happy people, staff and fellow vacationers, at this resort and you will leave refreshed. "

"We were actually in tears as we checked out because we’re so sad to leave today. Our stay was everything that we hoped it would be! We booked the Ocean Loft room and had a gorgeous view. If you aren’t able to walk up 4-5 flights, I would double check with the hotel before booking, since elevators aren’t available. Water sports through the resort are free such as paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. You have easy access to the beach, but chairs are only available on the actual property itself. Once you head down to the beach, you are able to bring towels and set up in front of the ocean, where other water sports are available such as jet skiing. The food was AMAZING and every employee was somehow nicer than the last. I would highly encourage anyone visiting to do the 2 hour snorkeling tour - you’ll see an abandoned shipwreck, turtles, stingrays, and various fish. Our stay was perfect from start to finish. 10/10 would recommend! "

"Really pleased with our stay at the Barbados Beach Club. Very quick check in process and up to our room overlooking the sea. Very clean spacious room with air con. We had a king size bed in a room for 3. As there was 2 adults and 1 child we needed a spare bed. A single bed was brought into the room as soon as they could. Ok the rooms are a bit dated but the beds and furniture is new and good quality. We loved the food nothing fancy just good quality food including roasts and BBQ. Help yourself to wine at lunch and dinner Entertainment was on every night and was ok. The staff go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible. Can not recommend enough "

"I had a great time staying at the Crane Resort with friends. Our suite was spacious, clean, and well appointed. We had a suite with a pool and nice patio to relax and take in the beautiful property and the ocean. The property is beautiful and easy to navigate. The staff was friendly and was always eager to help. I want to give a special thanks to Laijai for a smooth check in process, to Anthony and Donna for providing assistance throughout our trip, and to Chaunte from concierge. The food at breakfast was delicious and had some good options to choose from but the service very slow if you order a la carte. The property is somewhat secluded, and you have to take a taxi if you want to experience local cuisine and activities. All in all, this was a great vacation, and I would definitely go back. "
