"Everything about our stay from the ping pong table in the basement to the picturesque view from the balcony was perfect. We felt so fortunate to have found this house, and the lake itself was peaceful and gorgeous. The family who owns the property have thought of everything--board games, a well appointed kitchen, paddle boards and kayaks. They even have marshmallow roasting sticks and a fire pit with a lake view. I am hesitant to gush about it in this review because part of me wants to keep it...

"Daydreamer was the best home base for us to spend time learning about this part of the Oregon Coast. Location was everything because we could walk right across the street and down to Heceta Beach! My daughter enjoyed the view from the upstairs bedroom also and since she is still a youngster she could navigate the steep stairs well:). "The house is an older house, but it is wonderfully charming. The best part of this property is location, location, location. It has its own private forest a big green yard fire pits barbecue. It’s amazing. You can walk to the dunes privately. Your dogs can run freely!And the owner of the property is a real great guy! I would recommend this property any time! Some reviews listed the driveway as an issue. It is not it is perfectly.perfectly fine. "

"I absolutely love this home and amazing views, provided entertainment to the family with fishing, hot tub, games, puzzles, and a place to cook on the barbecue and in the kitchen. Love the proximity to town and restaurants.The home is very unique with a spiral staircase, and the three levels. The bed from the loft has the best view ever straight out to the lake when you wake up in the morning. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

"Overall stay was satisfactory. We were advised in advance the hot tub was not working and the property management team was very responsive with communications, and gave a small refund. However, it was disappointing because that was one of the reasons we booked it. The scenery was spectacular! Due to allowing pets, we were not surprised to find traces of pet hair but the sheets on the hideaway bed downstairs were dirty.
