"We had a wonderful family vacation at Hideaway Cabin. The pool was perfect. Very clean. Having a washer and dryer for a family on vacation is always a plus. Pretty secluded and relaxing. They need better property pictures because it is so much better in person! Yard is also spacious but not shown that way in the pictures. "

"My husband and I wanted to have a place to stay where we could fish the river from our rental. This place did not disappoint! As it states in the listing, it is semi-rustic. No fancy amenities, just the very basics. We loved it! Julie was a great host. She is very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to staying here again next Spring or Summer."

"My family of 7 enjoyed the cabin, the pool was fabulous, hot tub perfect for enjoying in evening and fire pit was used for s’mores and hot dogs! The owner was very responsive. I did think the photos made the property look larger than it was. My only suggestion would be a good deep clean and the exterior needs attention, screens were torn and need cleaned, rear porch door needs attention, leak under faucet. Close to everything. "

"We were a group of six middle age women that travel every other year since our mid 20's and we are always looking for a home that will be the main focus of our get-away since we want to sit around and eat and drink and reconnect. Along with that we like to have a nearby place to go do a little shopping and dining and maybe some fun touristy things. This place had it all! "

"The house was very nice, with a great deck overlooking the lake. We liked having our boat at the dock, with launch site just down the street. We would definitely stay here again."

"This is the coolest house in the areas and really stands outs. The views are amazing. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and was perfectly clean. Locations is perfect with walking distances to mount baldhead or oval beach (little further of a walk) or a quick ferry ride across to down. We had our school age boys with us and they loved the experience as much as the adults. We'll be back! "

"This is a cozy cottage and very comfortable. I wish I would have known the second bedroom only had exterior access. Who is doing the cleaning could pay attention to a little more detail. The refrigerator wasn’t super clean and there were items on the floor next to the sink in the upstairs bathroom. Beautiful view outside and very quiet to sit out and enjoy coffee. "

"Really cute cabin! It was the perfect space for me and 7 of my friends to celebrate my birthday. The cabin only allows 2 cars to park in front, which was originally a concern since we had 3 cars coming. But to our pleasant surprise, there were 2 overflow parking passes available to a lot close by."
