"This was an awesome, and unique place. Beautiful woodwork, amazing windows and features. But it is 130 years old and things are definitely unique. We loved it. Never quite figured out the shower (n the Miracle room) but that’s alright. The staff was great. Matt, the bartender/waiter, was the highlight. Funny, yet professional. Talented. We would like to return. What an experience. We were there for a show downtown. Next time we will stay for dinner. "

"I actually felt quite fortunate to have booked a room in the off-season (mid-March...still Winter in Michigan!). I treated myself to a weekend getaway and absolutely loved this place! I was the only guest, so of course they couldn't open the dining room for breakfast just for me, but they brought a lovely breakfast right to my room and right on time. The bed was comfortable and the offering of local wine for purchase was great. Check in was super easy, even though staff were not present on...
