"Very clean for the price. Very nice, accommodating staff. No strange smells in the room or in the bed which is really nice, usually booking via 3rd party apps gets you the crappy rooms but all the appliances worked well, there were toiletries and clean linens in the bathroom. Not sure about breakfast or where it would have been since I missed it."

"Bad cigarette smoke smell. Not convenient to park - in the back, had to walk almost to the end with my belongings (I am 74) and there was a door 2 places down which would have been more convenient to park but sign said “Use Other Door” so I had to tote ALL my things 3/4 way down a hall. Also, there was no one at the desk when I went to check out at 4am and it said there would be someone there 24/7. "

"It took the owner 15 minutes to answer the door at check in. From there I had to re-register my information and was asked to pay again. I informed her I had already paid and she tried to argue with me that I had not until I showed her my receipt. There is no breakfast provided either. I was stopped by other motel stayers and informed that the previous occupants of my room had complained about bed bugs and roaches. I went to ask for my money back to leave and was told no. "The property owners were very nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. The reference in the listing to a picnic on the beach seems mis-leading. You do have a nice view over the river and we had a pretty sunset but no beach. The house looks nicer in the pictures than in person although it is large and accommodated our needs. There are a lot DIY renovations that pretty odd but didn't really interfere with our stay. Just not as luxurious as represented. I should acknowledge I manage some rental...
