"Lovely cottage and much nicer than the photos show. Quiet location. We didn't have a car and were able to travel to and from the cottage by bus from Rovaniemi but note that this does mean carrying all your food with you as there are no shops nearby. Well equipped cottage and a fantastic wood burning sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We stayed at this lovely and very accessible property during February and it was very quiet in the town during our entire stay. I am not sure it’s like that around other peak times like Christmas so keep that in mind. We loved the location of the property less than a mile to a grocery store, restaurants, public transportation, and the ski slopes. The property was well equipped with everything you need. We’d recommend it for single, couples or families. "

"The apartment is clean and nice, but some things could have been improved: the bathroom might benefit from the bath matt, the sauna was amazing, but there was no working light in it. Also, for 4 nights it would have been nice to have more towels. As lso, the sauna does not really heat up in 30 minutes, you need a good hour - but it was lovely! "Property was in a good location and had everything we needed. We were disappointed there was no igloo as per the listing or a message from the owner beforehand so we could let the children know. The property itself was an unusual layout which is hard to work out from the listing so wasn't quite as expected. 2 bedrooms on entrance were good, living room was lovely. "This cabin is absolutely beautiful the location is breathtaking. The cabin has everything you could need our children and ourselves loved sledging on the hill at the side of the property. It’s definitely worth booking the hot tub as it was lovely to use in the evening. The owner and the host were both amazing! Great communication and very helpful even helped us on the first night when on the way to the property we slid slightly into a snow bank and got stuck. They got a tractor to pull us out!...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Sipukka. The place is as described, very homely and well equipped for a stay in the quiet, fresh air of Lapland. We took advantage of the saunas combined with dips in the lake, did yoga on the dock, used the boat with an electric engine for picnics on the lake and took strolls in the forests around to look for the many reindeer. They sometimes come for a visit to the property, too. It was super-relaxing and exactly as we hoped it would be."

"We had a very nice and relaxing time. Our son didn't understand why this house is rented out to other people. He would stay there forever. :-) We were there in the low season in autum, which is probably the most “boring” time in Lapland. But this house was a unique place despite the gray weather. It offers everything your heart desires and was even more beautifully than the photos showed. We will definitely come back."

"Sehr schönes Häuschen an einem wunderschönen See mitten im Wald! Der Kontakt mit den Eigentümern bezüglich der Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert. Das Häuschen ist ideal für alle die Ruhe und Entspannung brauchen. Aber dennoch ist es nicht weit von Rovaniemi entfernt. Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht, inkl. Sauna und Kamin. "

"This is a lovely aparthotel - an apartment building converted into little short-term rentals. The studio was cozy and had everything you need for a short stay, including some kitchen utensils. The location is really convenient and close to everything. One thing to note is that all communications were via Whatsapp or the Bob W app/page. This worked out well for me, but be aware that you need to log on to get things like the key code and room number."
