"Your website description is incorrect. No separate shower and bath in a cottage suite and no bathrobes. Fortunately we have stayed there before in a cottage suite therefore did not expect these. However for anyone who has not stayed before misleading and needs to be corrected."

"Overall, a very pleasant experience for an overnight stay of that price. The reception staff were friendly and helpful on my arrival as well as when I had an issue with my car tyre from 9pm to almost 1am- which was greatly appreciated. The lady at reception assured me that there was no issue if i was to have to leave my car for the day even after checkout. "This was a stop-off for us on our way to visit our Grandson in Suffolk. The hotel was very clean including our double room. Our only criticism was that we were told at checkin that breakfast was served up to 11am. We went down at 10:15 only to be told that they stopped at 10:00 but that they could provide pastries which wasn't what we wanted or paid for. That being said, the Duty Manager was very good and arranged a refund straight away. Great location for access to the City !"

"A lovely hotel which is very well located in Stamford, The Crown is near the main shopping street and many restaurants. It is also within walking distance of the Burghley estate. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable; our room faced out onto the street but the thick curtains ensured that we were not disturbed by the lights. " Room 109 - at the back of the Annex, good bed, decent bathroom, woeful view across a carpark, but that was no problem as I was only staying overnight and it was near dark when I arrived. Used the bar when I came back from dinner elsewhere, decent pint of JHB before bedtime...kudos to new night staff member Sarah for her service, good addition to The Bull team"

"We had a fabulous weekend at The Grange, the house is beautiful, well equipped for large groups/families and has plenty of space. There are lots of bathrooms, mirrors, lovely thick bath towels, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens plus the Aga. Lots of thoughtful touches for a large party. There is a great games room - only thing to note is that it’s on the first floor so not really part of the main living / communal areas downstairs. We loved our weekend away and would definitely return, thank you!! "

"3 families (6 adults and rest teenagers / kids) get together for 4 nights Had supermarket deliver for first night and spent the rest of the week enjoying each others company ! The kids loved the games room, swimming pool , we set up badminton and was other garden games too - we spent evenings playing bored games, so much quality time and phones / tablets hardly touched !!
