The bed is on a mezzanine, however comfortable and I was pleased there was a fan I could use to keep me cool on one of the hottest days of the year. "Everything about The Old Bank House was exceptional. The house is beautifully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. At the same time we were made to feel comfortable and welcome to enjoy the space without any restrictions. The bedrooms were all good sized with very comfy beds. It’s ideally located in the village centre, with easy and convenient parking. And the host, Matthew, was very accommodating and responsive. I can’t recommend this property more highly - book it if you can! "

"Lovely house, spotlessly clean. Heating was on when we arrived and the Christmas tree was twinkling. The house is spacious and welcoming. The hosts are very helpful. "First, the only way go stay closer to the cathedral would be to pitch a tent on the lawn! So much room, large kitchen and separate dining room. Really large bedrooms. Entire house super well kept and clean. We are picky travelers and we loved this place! "

"Our family stayed for a couple of nights prior to our cruise out of Southampton. Very comfortable and cozy home, well stocked with coffee/tea and baked goodies (and a bottle of wine). Very close to a couple of great eateries (loved Pig in the Wall). Walkable to the shopping mall and center of town. The host was quick to respond to questions and requests, and was very accommodating to store our many pieces of luggage for a few extra hours on our day of departure. Thanks, James!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow, which was ideal for my disabled husband. We were out meeting friends every day so the area was good. As said before by others, it would have been nice to have a small freezer section in the fridge. A small folding stool would be handy in the kitchen. The garden would be lovely in the summer. Thank you for a nice few days."
