"First of all, Nikki was our online host and stayed in communication with me the whole time. When we arrived at Cedar River, I found that the cabin I thought I reserved was not the one I actually reserved. Fortunately for us Nikki was there to check us in and helped us upgrade to a bigger cabin to fit our family and puppies. We stayed in the two bedroom cabin which had everything you needed to enjoy your stay and the place was very clean and well maintained. We do plan on staying there the next...

"This is a beautiful log home nestled in a great country setting. As stated in the online listing, there is room for everyone and space for whatever you need. There were 18 of us and no one felt cramped. The fireplace in the living room was stocked full of wood and it was relaxing to watch the fires. "Our family gathered together with their families at this beautiful house in the woods of Iowa City. We all had our own rooms and bathrooms, we were wonderfully surprised by the well stocked items in the kitchen and availability to use and enjoy everything that was inside for us use as well. Then outside.. ponds trees and to be able to walk about and enjoy all the surrounding areas! The host was very accommodating to us as well!"

"the event center is in the process of development, with construction workers and miscellaneous characters running about. The cabins are almost brand new (business est 2021) and they are continuing to build more cabins. The cabins all sleep 4+ people, but the interiors would be cramped for more than 2 because of the smaller appliances and plumbing installed. They utilize window AC/heater units that are really loud and located right next to the main bed...woke me up every time it kicked in!...
