"This is a great venue. It is affordably priced, conveniently located, artfully maintained in accordance with it original style (wooden floors and picket rail porch, antique furniture, etc.). I felt unique and pampered in my room. I even heard a train whistle nearby in the early wee hours of the morning, reassuring and comforting rather than disturbing. I hope to return for a longer stay."

"The property was beautiful. Easy to get to all 3 skiing mountains in the area. The cottage was excellent and plenty of room. Clean, organized, and very well decorated. Felt right all home and comfortable. Would highly recommend! "

"We enjoyed our stay. Being only 15 minutes from places to eat, we had total privacy and quiet. The surrounding forest and nearby river are great and make you feel like you have escaped somewhere. Plenty of room for a family of four with a loft and a private room. Living space was nicely setup. If you want to prep your own meals during a stay, this place has all that you would need. "We booked this place as a bed and breakfast. No breakfast. No staff on site. No information was provided at the hotel to help us find things in the area. We were not informed that this was a "self check in hotel" until after the cancellation date. Calling the Heritage office (off site) for assistance was useless as the staff could not answer our questions. The common areas were sparsely furnished and shabby. "Angel's Rest is sooo peaceful. We had a delicious and super healthy breakfast in the breakfast nook, surrounded by lovely plants and a small fountain, looking out over the rolling hills of Western Mass. The fall colors were nice. "
