"We stayed here as a little staycation to be close to the beach while I flew in from out of town and was very pleased with the property. Very nicely kept, clean and you can’t beat the view. The manager was always great to communicate with and it was great that we were able to bring our pets."

"Overall it was okay. Gas stove was hard to light had to use lighter. Tv in master would not work. The outside shower was very dirty, but everything else was great. I would stay again. FYI Beachside Village does not allow trailers to park on properties."

"The home was quite spacious and featured a variety of entertainment options, including arcade games, a poker table, a pool table, and a ping pong table, along with several lounging areas. There was ample parking space for over 10 vehicles. The detached apartment in the back was a nice feature, as it allowed for remote work without disturbing others. "Stayed a weekend with a large group of family. Overall the home was nice but definitely a little dated. Boards on the back deck area and near the pool would noticeably sink in while standing on them. The pool was OK, definitely aged and not very clean. Lots of empty beer/drink cans around outside of pool. Unfortunately upon check-in the home had not been cleaned. Most beds were dirty and all bathrooms had used towels thrown on the floor. "The house was exactly as described. Steps away from the beach. Beautiful view. The plus for us it was dog friendly and the only way on and off the upper deck is through the door, so no worries about my dog sneaking off the deck. Had a great time!"

"This property is very private and the house is amazingly spacious. The house is in need of updates. Carpets were dirty/stained. Door locks are antiquated (not in a good way). We had major trouble unlocking and locking the front door (but the manager was quick to help us). The pool was cloudy and the hot tub didn't heat up (ok since in Oct). "We had a fantastic stay in Galveston! The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, and the fishing in the area was great. The accommodations were comfortable and set us up for an enjoyable trip overall. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. "Great property located a stone’s throw from the beach. This place was perfect for us. We spent most of the time on the beach. It was great to be able to walk back and forth with the little ones for nap times. The deck was awesome to enjoy both early morning and in the evening. Great communication with the host.
