"Property as excellent - very clean, spacious and good sized rear garden plus beautiful views of surrounding countryside. Only one negative - the bathroom shower - was very average and not easy to adjust for anyone under 5 feet two. Everything else was spot-on."

"This is a lovely cottage, full of character whilst still being comfortable and cosy. The location within the town is perfect. Completely quiet and peaceful but only two minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the main street with its shops, pubs and restaurants. The addition of a car parking space is SO useful....and very rare! Our hosts were delightful. Communicative and available without being in any way intrusive. Altogether, a very good find!"

"As a family of three, plus our four legged friend, we really loved staying in this delightful cottage in rural Dorset. Equipped with everything you could possibly need, and more - including lots of great games, puzzles, books, blue-tooth speaker, etc. The view from the kitchen is stunning and we loved all the Christmas decorations and fairy lights. Cosy and characterful this was the perfect place to base ourselves over the Christmas break. For getting out and about - there are some nice country...

"A beautiful home , where 9 members (age3-71 of our family enjoyed 6 nights . Plenty of room, everything you could need for self catering, lovely garden with hot tub in a fantastic setting. Communication with Gill was prompt and efficient. We visited Lulworth Cove and Weymouth, as well as Kingston Maurward Animal park( free), and had Sunday lunch at nearby Brewers Arms. Lots of nice walks too. I can certainly recommend this property ."

"This is one of a small number of cottages tucked away in a lovely little village with views overlooking open fields and it was wonderful. "Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"What a wonderful home to stay in. This is just the most cozy, warm, cottage imaginable. It lacks for nothing. The house is on a lovely farm with great walking areas. Pete and Bev are superb hosts, and were happy to offer whatever we might need, while not being at all intrusive. "The cottage has all the facilities you might need, and the Welcome Box of goodies was a nice touch. The heating came on morning and evening and warmed the cottage very well. We didn't need to use the log fire. The Spar shop, located a minute's walk away, was very useful. I can recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking about a holiday to short break in Dorset. "

"Perfect venue for a cosy week catching up with friends, we had been looking for somewhere large enough for all 10 of us to get together, play board games and have a film night! This was perfect! The dining table accomodated us all, as did the sofa! We also did all our own cooking and found the kitchen to be well equiped, (far more so than some professional kitchens weve used!) Will definitely be keeping this saved for future catch ups!!"

"Photos and description don't do it justice. What an absolute delight and beyond. Furnished like a show flat but it's the little detauls that really make this: the cotton buds/pads in the bathroom, cereals in the cupboard, milk and yoghurt in the fridge... But also the often overlooked items in reviews like the shower - great pressure and heat, towels were big, fluffy and robust, more than enough hangers in the wardrobe.... One of the best apartments I've ever stayed in "
