"We stayed here on a recent cycling holiday - we were biking from Amsterdam to Brussels. All the self guided tours suggested stopping in Bergen Op Zoom but we decided to go to Halsteren instead - just so we could stay at this B&B. It was the best decision! Alex was a kind and welcoming host, the property and view were amazing and Halsteren was a lovely town. Highly recommend!!!"

"This is a good hotel in a convenient location within driving distance of many options. Parking is easy, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and well stocked. The only negative was the bathroom was a little small with a small sink and tight shower. Otherwise everything was fine. I would return here if I were to stay in the Breda area in the future. "The staff were all very friendly. Lot's of choice for the buffet breakfast. The room was clean, the only criticism is lack of electrical sockets, there was only spare one and that was on the opposite side of the room to the beds. The beds are a small single. Parking is available but if you arrive mid-late evening it maybe full, there is on street parking though. "

It started when we were asked if we'd pre-ordered breakfast, we asked for something simple, rolls and coffee. we were shown to our rooms, old towels littered the floor. The rooms were small, had an unpleasant stale odour and were not ensuite. I had a hand bowl but no soap. after returning from a meal at 11pm I couldn't get to sleep as there was a bridge evening downstairs and the noise combined with an over zealous use of a microphone was unbearable.
