"The place is absolutely gorgeous - such a tranquil location. There are multiple hang-out spots for those who need a break or a change of scenery (two balconies, screened in porch/balcony, fire pit area). The water is beautiful with a view of crown land on the other side. The cottage is spacious and accommodates many comfortably as described (although we were just a group of 3 and a dog!). Loved the fireplace on our cool nights, that was such a treat. There are lots of hikes in the area that we enjoyed in the mornings. St. Ola's station has great baked goods (just a few minutes away by car). Jared, our host, was an excellent communicator, and ensured the place was very clean, tidy, and well stocked (kitchen had all the tools we needed, lots of firewood, etc). . My only complaint is I wish we booked another day!"
