"We arrived in Hallstatt around 3pm and found a parking spot in P1. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the VRBO. There is a shuttle available, but I cannot comment on that. The key was in a lock box beside the VRBO, on the Seeside Café wall. You have to climb stairs to get to your room. Upon walking in, the lake view immediately draws you in! It is breathtaking! "We had a wonderful time in Steuer-Annaberg among the Austrian Alps in the Salzkamergut. The Chalet was beautiful! Upon arrival it was bright, cheerful, and pleasantly fresh among the mountain air. It seemed the layout was thoughtfully determined - with the entry level bringing one into the living room and kitchen/dinning room areas with a bathroom for that level. "We just finished a 30 day visit to Europe and stayed in 4 different and excellent vrbos. Chalet jagdhaus was by far and away our favorite. The location the chalet and the chalet amenities were fantastic. We did not have a vehicle, but the train was just a short walk, hiking in the area was terrific, and having the bikes made it even more enjoyable. And to top it off the sauna was a nice bonus.
