There is a beautiful terrace facing the mountains. Ideal for hiking in summer. "We just finished a 30 day visit to Europe and stayed in 4 different and excellent vrbos. Chalet jagdhaus was by far and away our favorite. The location the chalet and the chalet amenities were fantastic. We did not have a vehicle, but the train was just a short walk, hiking in the area was terrific, and having the bikes made it even more enjoyable. And to top it off the sauna was a nice bonus. Andy and Nina were fantastic hosts, and were always available. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend...

"We had a wonderful time in Steuer-Annaberg among the Austrian Alps in the Salzkamergut. The Chalet was beautiful! Upon arrival it was bright, cheerful, and pleasantly fresh among the mountain air. It seemed the layout was thoughtfully determined - with the entry level bringing one into the living room and kitchen/dinning room areas with a bathroom for that level.
