"The accommodation was fantastic! Second time staying here and would definitely come again. The peacocks that seemed to come to our window every morning were good fun & the kids loved them. There’s only one slight negative which is the pool temperature which I believe isn’t suitable for children…Adults will be fine but the last two times we’ve stayed here the children have never been able to enjoy the pool due to it being too cold. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodleigh Coach House. Lovely room, quiet surroundings and delicious breakfast in their cafe. The premises are within easy reach of main roads to nearby Exeter and the coast, as well as lovely local pubs including Traveller’s Rest and Kings Arms for evening meals. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. "

"We stayed there for the graduation of our daughter. It was perfect location. Accommodation was nice and all really clean."

"A great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay."

"Lovely private room with en-suite which was annexed to the owners house. Had its own front door, so was completely self contained. Contact in advance was timely and informative. Friendly owner greeted us upon arrival and encouraged us to be in touch if there were any issues, which there weren’t. Room was perfect for our 2 night stay. Clean, well appointed with a huge, comfy bed and facilities for tea and coffee making and enough cutlery and crockery for a ‘bring your own’ breakfast. Driveway...

"Beautiful accommodation in a very pretty peaceful setting. Lovely warm welcome on arrival."

"Welcoming hosts; lovely, spacious room; spotlessly clean; fabulous shower; the dog was as enthusiastically welcomed as I was; delicious, freshly prepared breakfast. I would unreservedly recommend this place and it was excellent value."

"Spotlessly clean room. Comfortable beds. Front bedrooms are a bit noisy as the property is on the main road, so had to sleep with the windows closed. Parking was on site, but a bit awkward especially if other drivers did not park in the marked spaces. Breakfast was ok, but a very strange system of ticking of choice of food on a blackboard, which was not very user friendly. Limited choice (e.g. only orange juice and only one cereal, only berries for fruit choice) and nothing left out to help...

"Wow, we had a 3 bedroom lodge with hot tub, and it was absolutely perfect 👌 Clean, spacious and beautiful views. Staff were very helpful, had to call as the boiler went off, they arrived promptly and fixed in 2mins. Shout out Will, great quiz and funny bingo night. Would come back in a heartbeat 💯"

Fabulous place with lots to do.

"This was our second visit to the Mole, we stayed in the hotel, in the manor suite for our anniversary weekend. The room was amazing, private sauna and steam room, separate lounge, more like an apartment. Very Comfy. The resort itself is beautiful and all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We have booked a week to go back and try one of the lodges this time with the whole family. "

Would be happy to return

"The room was simple but clean with a view across the Exe valley. I liked that the heating stayed on until late evening, the hot water was reliable and the shower did not fluctuate between hot and cold. Also, the proprietors were generous and flexible with breakfast. The hotel is close to Exeter's two principal railway stations and about 15 mins walk from the town centre. Minor complaints - some of the lightbulbs were too dim and the toilet seat shifted around."
