The setting is scenic and close to lots of things to do - wonderful scenery, zoo, boat trips, lovely villages, and cafes. Aidan is a very good host and really nice and friendly. "The cottage is located very near to the center of the village, which has everything you need for a long stay. The kitchen is well appointed but we did have problems with the overly sensitive smoke detector. Communication with Lisa was excellent. She responded immediately to any questions we had. The place is best suited for people who plan to spend most of their time outdoors walking and exploring, since it doesn’t have an outdoor patio or yard. Chagford is a very special place with lots to do...

"Lovely old cottage with everything we needed, fantastic views, the cream teas that were left for us was a lovely touch, the decking area was very disappointing and in need of some upgrading, great location for visiting other areas of interest in easy reach, overall we had a great holiday and would love t go back again, "
