"The heating was not on in the hotel. As it was cold on the evening the receptionist supplied us with a convecter heater. Top marks for a very helpful receptionist. The towels were rather thin and hard. I would have expected thick, fluffy towels. The breakfast was very good with a nice menue.. However, I would prefer to help myself instead of waitress service. This may have been due to not many people staying there."

"A real gem, across the road from the station or use the great free car park next door. Reception was welcoming and after hearing about a bad night at a national chain the night before they promptly sorted an upgrade of room for us - so kind. Breakfast was served in a sunny open room with lots of choices and cooked to order! A fabulous way to set you up for the day. "

"Fantastic building! Perfect location. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Just some rooms are in need of a little TLC so it depends which of the rooms you stay in. The room we stayed in just needed updating but the bed was so comfortable and a very good night sleep was had!! "

"Excellent and easy check in, evening meal was very nice and competitively priced. The Estrella was served at the perfect temperature 👍 the room was lovely and clean and the jelly babies were a fantastic treat 👍 only gripe was I couldn’t regulate the radiator which was on all night - the sash window came to the rescue and a cool breeze was present all night. The gentleman who checked me in and showed me to my room was very polite and courteous. Didn’t have breakfast as I left early but will...
