"Amazing is an overused word. Was visiting apprentices in the port. Phoned to say would be very late. Kept kitchen open had very nice steak. Then went to suite. It was huge. Kitchen TV room, with everything including washing machine, and shower room. TV in living room and bedroom. View out the window directly to countryside. Nice breakfast. "

"What a beautiful venue. The room was spotless, well stocked tea, coffee milk etc. The breakfast was amazing and the owners were delighted. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "

"Booked a twin room which they'd double booked our room but they did managed to sort out 2 single rooms which actually worked much better for my housemate and I. Overall the building is very rustic and quite quaint, the rooms are decently sized, the beds are comfy enough for the short term and the bathroom is very modern. Unsure if there's wifi as I didn't have any for the whole stay but as i was visiting to see family it didn't really bother me that much."

"Myself, my partner Andy and our dog Willow stayed Friday to Sunday at the chickens coop and we had the most relaxing & enjoyable time. Andy enjoyed doing a bit of fishing at the lake, catching a good sized carp, whilst I enjoyed walking around it with the dog. The place itself is just gorgeous, with free roaming chickens etc that you can feed. The stay in the coop was perfect - it was so peaceful and homely. "The hotel was excellent however Expedia had not informed the hotel we were on bed and breakfast so took a while to sort out but staff were very helpful . Not many restaurants in the area ."

"We had cause to book a hotel quickly for one night in Hull and came across this gem. It's an old school/college building which has been converted into a hotel. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the bedroom was clean and comfortable and the bar provided good food at drink at very reasonable prices. We would definitely return."
