"It was a little hard to find, as entry is easy to miss and I wasn't sure which of the cabins it was. But once I got there it was worth the effort: a very nice shepherd's hut, with good facilities and the view was wonderful even in early spring, the only nearby neighbours are the pheasants and deer.Bad: Drive down (or especially back up) is very steep on gravel track so took some practice to get up. "We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. "The pictures were n the sight are deceiving,the property was damp and dirty and we could not stay in it,apparently it was cleaned two weeks prior to our stay,cleaning should have been done the day before,the owner was very uncooperative,and has not issued a refund ,indeed he has ignored my request"

"Everything was perfect "

"The lodge was lovely with views of the shoulders of Exmore. It was well fitted with good working facilities and the site was very nicely kept and only has around eight lodges was quiet. The hosts were very supportive when we asked for help. The site is about 30 minutes walk or five minutes drive from the seafront at Minehead."

"Beautiful country views, and a wonderfully relaxing time sitting outdoors. Very easy access into Taunton to visit family. The cabin was very welcoming and extremely clean!"

"Cannot recommend enough superb in all aspects very quiet area away from busy lives. Very clean everything you need for a perfect stay plus extra personal touches from the host ie fresh flowers and home made cakes. Lots of walks nearby and loved seeing the sheep and chickens every morning when you wake up."
